Flute - Clarinet - Violin - Cello - Piano - Percussion
This piece was written as an exploration of the famous instrumentation. A theme is introduced and then treated with in a myriad of ways. The piece begins with a hard edge that relaxes into a sort of sound bath in the middle, always with the initial motive in mind. The end then further expands upon that motive and uses it to grow to a climax.
It is helpful to perform this piece with a conductor though it is not absolutely necessary.
